Partner Summer Schools

Study at one of YorkU's global partners for 2-6 weeks in the summer. Programs take place between May-August each year and provide students with the opportunity to explore a new city/country, experience a different culture, and earn credits towards their degree. 

Summer programs are rich with experiential learning activities that make the most of your time away. Learn a new language. Try a new cuisine - the world is your classroom!

Ontario Universities International (OUI) is a unique organization in Canada, providing leadership in the Province’s commitment to international cooperation and exchange in post secondary education. All students selected to participate in an OUI program may receive a scholarship to offset the costs of participation.

• Students interested in the Academic Exchange through OUI must complete a York International Outgoing Exchange Application Form:

• Students interested in the Summer Language Programs must apply through York International Summer Application Form:

  You must also complete the OBW IBH Application or ORA SLP Application for YorkU students and email the PDF to goglobal@yorku.ca

  Students must also complete The Letter of Permission - which helps determine the courses that you take abroad and if they can transfer back to YorkU. Be mindful of the LOP deadlines as extensions will not be granted. 
• Students interested in the Summer Research Program must apply through York International Global Internship Form
